Skills Portfolio 1 Sample Reflections Completion requirements Reflection 1 I previously held a belief that people of foreign cultures felt socially accepted and welcomed in the Australian community, particularly in Sydney, due to the diversity of the city. This year I experienced something that caused me to identify gaps in my knowledge (Macquarie University, 2020) and act accordingly to the newly formed belief that racial biases still exist in Sydney. My boyfriend is from Argentina, and though he speaks and understands English fluently, he maintains a Spanish accent. While living with me this year in Sydney, we began searching for new jobs. How to study ARTS1000: Weekly schedule Completion requirements ARTS1000/ARTX1000 is an interdisciplinary, interactive unit. You will be exposed to a variety of disciplines, concepts, and ways of studying Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Each week, you will be expected to carry out the following steps: PREPARATION: Complete the preparatory activities, which will consist of selected readings and pre-recorded videos featuring guest speakers from all the disciplines across the Arts, Humanities and Social Science, as well as industry representatives. You will need to devote approx. two (2) hours each week to the preparatory activities. ACTIVITIES: Attend the live-streamed online lecture (one hour via Echo360). A recording will be made available later for those who cannot join synchronously. Complete your tutorial activities (one hour). For F2F-Day students, this will be on campus. This example is to illustrate the structure of the brief only. Synopsis: This poster, which was created with Adobe Spark, highlights the urgency of the climate crisis and encourages people to act against climate change. Skills Portfolio 3: Submission instructions Completion requirements IMPORTANT: The Skills Portfolio 3 assessment requires the submission of two parts. The submission boxes are located in the "Assessment" section of iLearn, under Skills Portfolio 3. Part 1: Submit your artefact First, submit your artefact to the "Media artefact dropbox" choosing one of the options below: Option 1: Upload the file Your artefact should be in a format that will be able to be opened on your marker's computer (e.g pdf, jpg, ppt etc.). There is a 200 MB limit on this option. If your file is larger, you will need to use the other option. Option 2: Submit a Google Drive link All students have access to Google Drive.
