Skills Portfolio 3: Submission instructions
Completion requirements
IMPORTANT: The Skills Portfolio 3 assessment requires the submission of two parts. The submission boxes are located in the "Assessment" section of iLearn, under Skills Portfolio 3.
Part 1: Submit your artefact
First, submit your artefact to the "Media artefact dropbox" choosing one of the options below:
Option 1: Upload the file
Your artefact should be in a format that will be able to be opened on your marker's computer (e.g pdf, jpg, ppt etc.). There is a 200 MB limit on this option. If your file is larger, you will need to use the other option.
Option 2: Submit a Google Drive link
All students have access to Google Drive. After uploading your file to Google Drive, you can create a link by clicking the "Share" button. Make sure that it is set to "Anyone with the link can view". Paste this link into the online text box in the "Media artefact dropbox".
Part 2: Submit your completed Skills Portfolio 3 Brief
Submit your completed communication Brief to the Skills Portfolio 3 Turnitin box. This document must be in either Word or pdf format.

Think innovatively It is also important to think about how best to achieve the impact you are seeking. This will depend, again, on the audience you are trying to reach. It is a good idea, though, to be imaginative and to consider innovative and accessible ways of communicating your research. For example, you might want to adopt a layered approach to communicating your research – this can be thought of like a Wedding Cake, or a ‘taste, snack, feast’ approach and is a technique designed to generate maximum impact across multiple audiences. Together all these ingredients make the cake which people can consume in a number of different ways depending on the channel they are engaging with, the time they have and their level of expertise.
