Hi everyone,
Hope you are having some well-deserved relaxation time now session 2 has finished. Just to let you know that your Skills Portfolio 3 feedback is now available. Thanks for putting so much creativity and energy into this assignment. I hope you had fun advocating for your chosen Arts discipline.
Please note that all feedback will be provided in the Turnitin link (where you submitted the Communication Brief). No feedback will be provided in the media artefact dropbox.
Just a final reminder that ARTS/ARTX1000 is Pass / Fail, which means that all final grades of 50% or above will automatically convert to a Pass (Satisfactory) and there is no final numerical grade. Your final result will read either Satisfactory (Pass) or Fail. The numerical grade listed in the final result will say zero, but don't worry, this will be the same for everyone.
Your official results for session 2 will be released on December 5th.
The unit will be finalised very shortly, so if you need to contact me about anything please do so via email (james.mackenzie@mq.edu.au).
A massive THANK YOU for a fantastic session, and wishing you all an incredible academic journey.
Best,
James, Alison, Kais, Lana and Simran

It includes spoken, written, digital and visual communication. Communication can be in the form of presentations, emails, video calls, in-person conferences or minutes of a meeting. It determines how you engage with your coworkers and clients on a daily basis. Effective professional communication is important to convey your ideas as clearly as possible. Think innovatively It is also important to think about how best to achieve the impact you are seeking. This will depend, again, on the audience you are trying to reach. It is a good idea, though, to be imaginative and to consider innovative and accessible ways of communicating your research. For example, you might want to adopt a layered approach to communicating your research – this can be thought of like a Wedding Cake, or a ‘taste, snack, feast’ approach and is a technique designed to generate maximum impact across multiple audiences.
